I'm Josh Blood, co-host of Show Me Your Setup. Dan Nelson and I work in ModPod's Production department. With the Show Me Your Setup podcast, our goal is to interview and be inspired by creative people over their setups. While we've also focused on our own setups, Dan and I have had the opportunity to interview three different people about theirs:
- Our first interview was with Amy, a professional voice talent. In episode 6, we toured both her vocal booth and editing setups.
- Our second interview was with with Matte Thomas, videographer and studio owner. Episode 11 found us learning about not just his gear, but his partnership with his wife, Katiria Colón, host of eXpozedTV.
- Our third interview, and the focus of this article, is with Emerson College Esports Content Manager, Maggie Nelson. Maggie is a video editor and avid gamer.
Our interview with Maggie Nelson for Show Me Your Setup episode 13 is special for a number of reasons. Maggie is an Emerson College student, and both Dan and I graduated from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. Also, Maggie is Dan's daughter! Listen to the whole episode to hear other wholesome and heartwarming family banter.
During the recording of the interview, I was excited to learn that Maggie is not just a passionate PC gamer, but she a member of Celestial, an all women and non-binary Valorant Esports team. She is also the new Content Manager for Emerson College Esports in which she plans content for the teams to make, as well as editing videos for the organization.
